Webbiz has an opening for a social media intern to join our marketing team. This is a two-month fixed-term paid internship. Working as part of a lively, enthusiastic team of creatives and marketers, the successful candidate will be a bridge between the two departments to nurture and grow our existing social media accounts, adopting the company’s own tone of voice, vision and approach while expanding our audience.

The ideal candidate would be a student or recent graduate of marketing or social media marketing.

Location: Dublin
Duration: Two-Month Internship

What You’ll Learn & Do

  • Be part of our current social media and creative teams to understand and learn how our teams work
  • Understand how to manage a social media account and post content/stories
  • Learn how to monitor the performance of our social media accounts, incl. tracking, recording and analysing post/account statistics
  • Learn how an agency produces social media content
  • Assist in generating data on campaign/post successes and difficulties
  • Be an active team member, contributing ideas and feedback
  • Be aware of trends so we can be ready to make the most of them
  • Engage with other accounts through commenting, following, and sharing
  • Become familiar with Webbiz’s tone of voice and learn to adapt it to various topics
  • Understand the overall concept of Webbiz – our brand, customers, services, goals

Your Skills To Succeed 

  • Experience or study in social media marketing
  • Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to receive objective criticism and improve upon it
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic with an excellent eye for detail
  • A talent for/interest in storytelling
  • Good time management, communication and organisation skills
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills
  • In 2nd or 3rd year of college graduate programme or beyond
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language

“Nice To Have” Skills 

  • Experience working with scheduling software such as Loomly, Buffer, etc.
  • Experience or an interest in working for a web design agency
  • Performance measuring knowledge
